Lavande - 3rd year university project

Lavande uses traditional french neoclassical architectural elements and contemporary furnishings to transport the user to Paris while dining in the space. The detailed architectural forms, large volumes, and curvilinear detailing of the traditional architecture contrast the mid-century modern furniture, horizontal lines, and low-profile forms of the contemporary elements; creating an experience which is unlike anything available in Vancouver.
